Welcome
We are proud to present the 6th annual Earth Day 5k and Alumni Run which will be held on Sunday, April 21st, 2013 at 10am. The start and finish area is located on the WWU campus track. If you have any questions feel free to email us at: contact@wwuearthday5k.org
This event is open to everyone and anyone. The scenic course goes throughout Western's campus and by each of the major sculptures. Each participant will recieve a native sapling tree.
Results and pictures will be up two days after the event
Event Day Schedule
- 8:30-9:45am: Pre-registration bib pick up, and day of race registration
- 9:45am: Kids Dash (1\4 mile)
- 10:00am: Start of 5k run and walk.
- 10:45am: Post race tree giveaway, prizes, and snack.

Course Map
Different ways to plant your tree for Earth Day:
- In a pot
- In your yard
- Give it to a friend for their yard
- At Magnuson Park at the end of the event
- At a different park contact Bellingham Parks Dept.
- In the city. Before planting in the city contact the Bellingham DOT.
